Supply chains have been in the public spotlight recently. The German Supply Chain Duty of Care Act was passed in June, and the discussion about a uniform European solution for protecting human rights and the climate is also heating up at the European level. However, the fact that digitization also offers the opportunity for more sustainable, transparent supply chains is sometimes lost sight of.
Thomas Saueressig will discuss the potential of digitization in the supply chain, but also the necessary ethical and legal frameworks. As a member of the Executive Board of SAP SE, Thomas Saueressig is responsible for SAP Product Engineering and also for the SAP Digital Supply Chain Portfolio.
The moderator will be Atlantik-Brücke Board Member Anahita Thoms from the law firm Baker McKenzie, who heads the German practice group for foreign trade law.
