Economic Security and the Transatlantic Agenda after the US Presidential Election

Daleep Singh, Julia Friedlander, Dr. Laura von Daniels, Guntram Wolff

Wednesday, December 11, 2024
03.00 pm - 04.00 pm

Brussels

This workshop will bring together expertise from public and private sectors to explore the consequences of the US Presidential election for economic security in the democratic West and for the transatlantic agenda. How do the US administration and the EU Commission currently define the term and concept of economic security? How do these definitions need to be sharpened? What course has the Biden administration set for transatlantic cooperation? In which areas are there still opportunities for cooperation between the EU Commission and the next US government under President-elect Trump?

In addition to industry representatives, we expect participation by relevant EU Commission members after their official hearing process has been concluded. An updated speaker line-up will be communicated in due time.

  • Julia Friedlander, CEO, Atlantik-Brücke
