Transatlantic Defense Readiness in the Super-Election Year

In the midst of a pivotal super-election year, transatlantic defense readiness stands as a cornerstone of global stability. With Europe and the U.S. continuing their support for Ukraine in its defense against the Russian hybrid warfare, bolstering security in the region remains a top priority. Yet, against the backdrop of impending electoral shifts and associated changes in policy priorities and strategic alliances, ensuring robust and long-term defense capabilities becomes increasingly imperative. Public-private partnerships could play a crucial role in navigating these transformations. Collaborative endeavors between governments and industry stakeholders facilitate innovation, resource optimization and operational effectiveness and have the potential to fortify a collective transatlantic defense posture against evolving threats.
