Atlantik-Brücke’s traditional Opening Reception at the sidelines of Munich Security Conference provided a platform for dialogue and exchange on transatlantic relations and pressing foreign policy issues.

A timely and passionate discussion on Ukraine, European security guarantees, and the future of transatlantic cooperation set the tone for what promises to be a decisive Munich Security Conference.

Gen. Keith Kellogg, Assistant to the President and Special Presidential Envoy for Russia and Ukraine, underlined the importance of European unity to keep the transatlantic alliance vital. As representatives of the Weimar Triangle Pierre Heilbronn, French Special Envoy for Ukraine’s relief and reconstruction, Norbert Röttgen, Member of the Bundestag (CDU/CSU), former Federal Minister, Vice Chairman of Atlantik-Brücke, and Aleksandra Uznańska-Wiśniewska, Member of Parliament of the Republic of Poland,  discussed different approaches but agreed: bravery and boldness are essential!
