Parliamentarians from the United States and Germany got together at the invitation of Atlantik-Brücke and the Association of the Former Members of Congress to discuss the relationship between their countries. Dent (R-PA, 2005-2018), Senior Policy Advisor, DLA Piper LLP, Peter Beyer, MdB (CDU/CSU), Deutscher Bundestag; Coordinator of Transatlantic Cooperation of the Federal Government, Federal Foreign Office, and Alexander Kulitz, MdB (FDP), Spokesperson for Foreign Trade and member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Deutscher Bundestag, debated President Trump’s plans to withdraw U.S. troops from Germany, about Nord Stream 2 and travel restrictions between the two countries.
